The pose
- File your natural nails.
- Push back your cuticles with the stick.
- Mattify by lightly scratching the top of the nail with the buffing block.
- Dust off with the brush.
- Clean with "nail prep & wipe"
- Adapt the size of the gel pad to the nail (heat by rubbing for a few seconds between your thumb and forefinger before sticking it on the nail).
- Rub the gel pad again before removing the film and sticking the press-on.
Advice
Step 6
- Stick all the gel pads on before applying the press-on nails.
- Start by choosing the size of the thumbs and little fingers because these are the easiest sizes to choose (larger and smaller gel pads).
- Finish by applying gel pads to the index fingers.
Since your fingers are the most used, place them last to preserve their grip.
Step 7
- Start by applying the press-on nails to your little fingers: ring, middle, and index fingers, then finish with your thumb. This method allows you to have more strength and ensures a better hold.
General advice
- Avoid contact with water as much as possible right after applying your press-on nails (for example before going to sleep).
- Use a hairdryer or heat source immediately after application to soften the adhesive on the gel pads. Gently press down on your nails while it cools for better adhesion.
- Keep the same application for a maximum of 2 weeks. You can apply a new one, but be sure to change the gel pads.
The deposit
- Slide the flat side of the stick under the capsule at the cuticle level and push until it is completely detached.
- Remove the remaining gel pad from your nail and press-on nails using the pointed stick.
- Store your press-on nails in the box.
ADVICE
It is easier to remove your press-on nails after your hands have been in contact with warm water, as this softens the gel pad and the nail.
Measuring kit
- Slide the capsule onto your finger.
- Take the time to try several sizes to ensure the perfect fit. The nail tip should completely cover your nail (if it's too big it will extend onto your skin, if it's too small your nail will be visible) .
- Note the capsule number for this nail.
- Repeat the process for all your fingers (measurements may vary from hand to hand) .
- Check that all the capsules fit your nails correctly (if necessary, take the measurement again to confirm your numbers) .
- Send me your size numbers and keep them safe.
Measuring your nails at home
- Place the adhesive tape on your nail, without tightening it too much, to avoid distorting the measurement.
- Make a small mark at each end of the widest part of your nail, ensuring it follows the edge of the nail perfectly. (The difference between each size number is only 1 mm or less, so you need to be very precise. Please indicate the measurement as accurately as possible: to the nearest tenth (e.g., 13.5 mm) and, if necessary, to the nearest quarter of a millimeter (e.g., 12.25 mm), to ensure an optimal fit.)
- Remove the adhesive tape from the nail and measure the marks against a ruler to get your size in mm.
- Note the size and repeat for all TEN fingers (measurements between your two hands may vary).
- Review and check your measurements: make sure they are consistent with each other. (If some appear different to the naked eye, it is best to repeat them.)
- Measure as many times as necessary until you are sure of your sizes.
