How do I apply my press-on nails correctly?

- Gently push back the cuticles with the stick.
- Lightly scratch the surface of the natural nail with the file to mattify it.
- Dust off with the brush, then degrease the nail with the nail prep & wipe.
- Choose the gel pad that fits each finger, warm it for a few seconds between your fingers, then stick it on. Stick all the gel pads on before proceeding to the next step.
- Rub the gel pad again, remove the protective film and apply the press-on by lightly sliding the capsule under the cuticle, then pressing it from the cuticle towards the free edge.
- Apply slight pressure to the press-on to ensure optimal hold.
- Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each nail.
How do I remove my press-on nails correctly?

- Gently slide the flat stick under the capsule, at the cuticle level, then gently push until it is completely detached.
- Remove any remaining glue from the press-on using the pointed stick, and from your natural nail with your fingers.
How long does the application and removal process take?
The complete application usually takes about 10-20 minutes, as does the removal.
How long do press-on nails last without peeling off?
When properly applied, your press-on nails last on average 5 to 10 days, depending on your daily activities and the care you provide.
Sustainability
How do I care for my press-on nails so they stay beautiful and strong?
To prolong their lifespan, avoid harsh products, clean them gently after use and store them in their box.
Can I file my press-on nails?
It's possible to lightly file a press-on nail if it gets damaged, but drastically altering its size or shape is not recommended, as this could damage the design and structure of the tip. To suit your preferences, we offer different shapes and lengths for each of our models.
Use
Can I wear them just for one evening?
Yes! Our press-on nails are perfect for a one-off event, offering a beautiful manicure for a few hours.
Can I wear them for a whole week?
Absolutely! If properly placed and maintained, they can last up to 5 to 10 days, depending on your daily activities.
Are they water-resistant?
Yes, they are resistant to everyday water (hand washing, dishes, swimming, showering, etc.).
However, it is best to avoid water for the first few hours after application to ensure better adhesion.
Reuse
How many times can I reuse my press-on nails?
Each press-on nail can be reused as many times as needed, provided it is cared for properly. Be sure to remove any glue residue and, most importantly, return them to their storage box after each use to prolong their lifespan. You can also clean the tips with a little soapy water.
Health & Safety
Do press-on nails damage my natural nails?
No, press-on nails won't damage your nails, provided you carefully follow our application and removal instructions. For example, the buffing step should be light, just enough to mattify the surface, so as not to damage the nail.
Can repetitive poses damage my nails?
No, repeated application won't weaken your nails if you continue to apply and remove them correctly between each use. Be careful when filing the nail surface; it should be light to avoid weakening the nail.
If I have developed an allergy to salon nail extensions, can I safely try press-on nails?
Press-on nails are a great alternative for people with product sensitivities. Having allergies myself, I haven't had any reactions since I started using them, as it's often the uncured products that cause allergies. Furthermore, the polishes don't come into direct contact with the nail or skin, thanks to the gel pad which acts as an adhesive.
However, always listen to your body and remove them if you feel any discomfort.
Does it stay on bitten nails?
Yes, press-on nails can be worn even on short or bitten nails. For optimal hold, choose our smallest size, "extra short." This allows the natural nail to grow underneath, developing a longer nail bed to accommodate larger press-on nails later.
In addition, the gel pads can be cut to size as needed to perfectly fit the size of the nail.
What is the minimum age to wear press-on nails?
There isn't really a minimum age: gel pads don't damage natural nails and aren't dangerous. The nail simply needs to be large enough to accommodate the pads. However, we recommend using them from adolescence onwards.
Are press-on nails comfortable to wear?
Yes! When applied correctly according to our instructions, press-on nails fit perfectly to your natural nails and remain comfortable throughout the day, even during your daily activities.
If you experience any discomfort, it probably means that the size of the capsule is not suitable: we recommend that you carefully measure your nails by reading the section Measuring the size of your nails .

Is each model inspired by a specific universe?
Yes, each press-on nail design is inspired by a particular universe such as video games, manga, TV series, or books. The designs are created to capture the spirit and aesthetic of each character, while remaining stylish and wearable every day.
Can I wear these designs even if I'm not familiar with the universe?

How can I choose a design if I don't know the universe or the theme?

Yes! At Thinails Dreams, our press-on nails are designed to be elegant and wearable for any occasion. Whether for everyday wear, a special event, or simply for daily enjoyment, each style can be worn by everyone, remaining stylish and subtle.
Is it possible to mix several models or collections in the same pose?
Each design is intended to be worn in harmony with itself. We do not recommend mixing several designs on the same hand. However, if you love two designs or two characters, you can absolutely wear one hand with one and the other hand with the other.
Can I order a custom model for a specific character?
For now, I don't yet offer custom designs on request. Each design is conceived as part of a collection around a specific theme, but the idea of opening up customization is part of my future projects.
Order & Delivery
What are the delivery times?
Delivery times begin from the moment your order is shipped (the production time is indicated at the top of the website). They then vary depending on the carrier you choose when placing your order. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is shipped so you can track your package in real time.
Is it possible to order a custom model?
Custom orders are not yet available. But it's something I'm considering for the future!
What if a model doesn't fit my nail size?
Occasionally, a capsule might not fit perfectly, especially if your measurements fall between two sizes. In this case, I always recommend the smaller size to avoid any discomfort or injury. If you still experience any discomfort, please don't hesitate to contact me directly: we'll find the best solution together. For your future orders, simply remember to double-check your measurements to ensure a perfect fit.
What payment methods are accepted?
All payment methods offered by Shopify are accepted on the store, so you can choose the one that suits you best when ordering.
Can I modify or cancel my order after it has been validated?
Once your order is confirmed, it unfortunately cannot be modified or canceled, as we prepare your package quickly and each order is customized for you. If you have any specific issues, please don't hesitate to contact me directly; we will do our best to find a solution.
How can I track my order?
As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number. You can use this number to track your package in real time and know exactly when it will arrive at your address.
What should I do if my order encounters a problem (delay, damaged, incomplete...)?
In case of delay, lost or damaged package, please contact us directly. We will do everything we can to assist you and find a solution quickly so that your order arrives in the best possible condition.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, our press-on nails are only available for delivery within France. We hope to expand our service internationally in the future!
